Vision
"To see a stable and enlightened Pakistan that is capable and helpful towards mankind."
It has come to the attention of Pakistan emergency response learning program (PERLP) that the masses of Pakistan want to help in times of disasters and distress, unfortunately because of lack of training and opportunities, they do not know how.
PERLP believes that by providing education of civil defense, a person can be taught to think objectively and calmly in critical situations. This quality allows them to become a stable citizen of the country that helps those in need because he has the skills required.
PERLP caters to the minds of individuals, especially children of the Islamic republic of Pakistan teaching them skills that strengthen not only their body but the mind and soul as well. This allows them to become independent and responsible individuals capable of contributing to and being of service to their homeland and mankind.
Mission Statement
"The mission to develop a civilized and responsible Pakistan"
Pakistan Emergency Response Learning Program (PERLP) believes that Pakistan has lost its compassion and ability to help the victims in times of crises due to the lack of knowledge. However, because of the advancement in milestones it is also understood that not only is the youth of today capable of learning much more in a short time but they are more willing to help due to the patriotism they have for their mother land.
Although the youth wants to help but it has come to the attention of PERLP that because of the much sudden advancement in numerous aspects of life, the upcoming generations seem to have lost the will to understand and learn certain skills by extracurricular means. This is what PERLP is committed to changing.
PERLP believes that by educating the youth in civil defense, ethics and morals the nation of Pakistan would gain ethical and civilized individuals who are morally just and have the ability to be responsible towards themselves, others and the nation. This in turn would eliminate the racism, terrorism, ill beliefs and extremism enabling an equal society, full of potential for the nation of Pakistan and its people.
After the earthquake incident PERLP began working on a path of enlightenment through knowledge to ensure that the 2005 camp incident does not happen again and people are versed enough to be productive and useful in a situation of crisis.
